WindowBlinds 8.05 not working on fresh install on Windows 8.1 update

Hi,

I have just bought WindowBlinds 8.05 and installed it on my both Windows 8.1 update computers and it doesn't work.

No icon appears in the task bar (even with the correct option actiavted).

When I try to launch WindowBlinds, and apply a theme, I got the following error :

Problem detected

WindowBlinds does not appear to be installed correctly on your machine. Would you like to try to fix this issue now?

Even if I click on Yes, nothing is starting.

Can you help me, please ?

Could you open the about box in WindowBlinds and post the information from there here please.

WindowBlinds 8.05 (027 - Windows 8 Edition) - 64 bit OS
WindowBlinds is not installed correctly on this PC.  If you did not reboot after installing WindowBlinds 8 for the first time, then please reboot and try this again.

I am using ESET NOD32 Antivirus 7.0.302.26

 

Here are infos on my 2nd computer having exactly the same issue (strictly identical, even if the first one is a desktop and the 2nd a notebook):

Wahou, it's working perfectly now !!!

I really hope Stardock will find a definitive fix for this incompatibility between WindowBlinds and ESET NOD32.

a real good registry clean up with glary utilities and/or Ccleaner will fix it, install as admin, don't select any skin after install just restart and done.

i don't have all these anti viri and stuff, so that was all that was left to could do
