They claim security reasons but will stick with Windows XP.   :grin:

Maybe they should look to the officials whom the US indicted for cyber espionage. They might want to take advantage of XP's vulnerabilities. It'd be easier and they wouldn't get in trouble for hacking themselves. :rofl:

Oh it's because of security alright...China wants to be able to monitor to activities of its civil servants quite closely, and I'm sure that's much easier to do subtlety with XP than it is with W8....

there's security issue in someone hacking your xp, and there's security issue in having your stuff plastered into some foreign cloud service baked into the os (skydrive/whatever it's called now). and some stuff about source code not disclosed to chinese gov, some stuff about ms controlling 3rd party software that can be installed in win 8 (eh? driver signing? app store only?)

 

or at least that's what the newspaper article i read claims to be the "security issue".
