Why Can Stardock Central Update Programs Without A Restart?

Why can Stardock Central update Stardock programs without requiring a restart, but the downloaded installers can't?

I see that Stardock Central is no longer supported. :annoyed:

I would prefer one program that updates all Stardock products, like Stardock Central. There are some programs that Object Desktop Manager does not update, like Cursor FX because it is not part of Object Desktop. I do not want to be updating programs separately, and Object Desktop Manager also requires restart after a program updates sometimes too.

Watching the screen as it instals updates it closes the program it is updating then restarts it as it can not update running files, so I take it that the stand alone have not got that ability programed into them. Maybe this is a size thing to keep the stand alone smaller I don't know you would have to ask support people on that .
