Primal-

Woah, no! I'll check my code, that's a henchman unit, not meant to show up as a champion. Thanks for the bug report.

I have one big gripe with this - the mount bond skill/perk. It's right in the middle of the tree and required to go forward into some juicy stuff.

But it just so happens that I already got a quest to find my mount, so I already got my horse.

And on top of that, I don't even want the horse I got, or any other. I want my sovereign/champion to go on foot.

So why is then the horse forced upon me? A total waste of a level point.

IMHO, it should be moved into a optional branch or something.

Another observation - the lone wolf type of feats seem more suited to an anti-paladin.

I guess giving an option for different builds is nice, but Paladins are generally considered charismatic and protective of their followers.

So while a paladin might get auras/abilities that buff his army, the anti-paladin might get auras/abilities that empower him at the expense of his troops.

hey davrovava, I love your mod.

Just FYi, in my mod (Kingdom of Vaynar) I added extra files that tweak the Paladin abilitites of your mod and some other stuff. And extra icons. Maybe you can use the extra icons.

Soronarr-

I'll check it out!

Good Morning

For some reason I am not getting the Paladin path choice at level 2.

I have a modified traitpathchoicewnd file, set to 7, and have a space for the Paladin icon to show up....but no go. I also cannot scroll down to receive more choices.

Even when I restore the file to orginal, I can able to scroll down and see the Graveborn (from dhuran's mod) but not yours.

Thoughts?

BTW, is the typo "PathOfTheOPaladinAbility" on purpose?

No, fixed!

Bummer. I am playtesting now and building lots of paladins.

My only guess is conflict with another mod (though why it would, not sure). You use quite a few right?

Yes I do, but when I came across this issue, the first thing I did was wipe my mods directory, install just the Paladin mod, and then reload and started a quicky with Relias. Fought a battle and leveled up....no Paladin. I then replaced the traitpathchoicewnd file back to it's original and tried again with the same process. Same result. I know the traitpathchoicewnd file is working correctly because I tried Path of the Ranger and Reverent Undead mods and received the two accociated paths in their proper locations.

I'll be playing around with it more this evening again....it's a mystery.

Well I'm sorry to hear it's not working for you, even after all that. I am totally stumped as to how it is happening. If I notice anything that might be causing it, I'll get back to you.

v.92 update-

Bonded Mount ability now advertises that the bonded mount quest gives experience in addition to a chosen mount, AND it unlocks an allegiance-specific summon spell. These spells used to come later in the tree.

In short, the bonded mount ability is more valauble now, even for paladins that don't need/can't use mounts.

Found out what went wrong.

I place all my mods into separate mod directories for easy organization. Your mod requires (for a reason that I cannot explain) the exact directory structure within the zip to be maintained, thereby having many xml files in the mods root directory.

Because they're so good? : )

But seriously, I'm glad it at least works, now.

Should work now!

May get my mods up on nexusmods soon, so there's an alternative to dropbox.

Next update will be expanded quests. Also looking to fix an overabundance of swords in loot.

Fixed bug where swords were overrepresented in loot.

With 1.7, I will work on creating items that require the paladin path.

Changed the Spell paladins get with Life3 and Righteous Fury, now a 5-round overpower ability with splash damage for 5 turns.

Re-arranged the tree to make bonded mount a choice not a requirement. Boosted the benefit from each sword skill selection.

Merged the damage-by-unit type traits.

Added paladin only equipment!

Modified the Arcane Vigor spell. No splash damage, but overpower lasts the whole battle. No cast time.
