Error While Installing

Hey all.

So I just bought GalCiv 2 Ultimate from the GameStop App. And when I try to install it I get "Steam://open/activatecode/(MY CODE IS LISTED HERE)"This File does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association with the Set Associations control panel."

I have no idea whats going on, and of course there support is less than helpful.

Any ideas?

The only thing you got from GameStop was the Steam-key to activate the game. To actually install it you need Steam.

I have Steam. How do I actually install it without paying 19.99 again?

Never mind I actually just figured it out. Thanks for the reply, it lead me the right direction.

Very poor on GameStops part, it didn't say anywhere that this was only a steam product activation key. I thought I was getting the whole game via the GS App.
