[1.5][Bug/Stuck][Scenario-Chapter 8] Destroy Krax and Yithril armies...

Immediately after starting Chapter 8 in the scenario, I'm tasked with bringing 15 crystals to the forge at Malaya. I head south, smash the 3 armies standing outside the old ruins (Malaya), and then... nothing. I've completely cleared the map of every possible living thing that can be killed. My transport has scoured every ocean tile, I've cleared the little "bonus" island, and even used the raise land spell to scout areas normally impassable, in search for a quest trigger or hidden army. My OCD is going crazy.

 

Maybe there's something blatantly obvious that I'm missing, and in that case, I apologize.

Nope, sadly, it just appear to be a bug. Apparently, multi-part quests don't always trigger properly for some reason. Hopefully this will be corrected in the rumored upcoming  2.0 patch.

Well, you CAN play the "sandbox" game while waiting for the patch. Quests malfunctioning won't necessarily fatally break your game (unless it's the Master Quest, in which case you will be forced to use a different victory method).

Can you post your savegame and your debug.err just after the issue?
