Jason Derulo has a girl in every country in the maddening “Talk Dirty.”
In the intro, people are told it’s a Jason Derulo song and the song has a jazz element to it. Specifically, the “Heremetico” sample by the Balkan Beat Box. It sets a burlesque tone. (“Jason, ha ha/Jason Derulo (Ha ha)/Get jazzy on me.”)
He enters the strip club and invites a dancer to sit on his lap. As he enjoys the view, he moves his body around a bit. It will allow her to be relaxed. In the United States to the Carribbean, he has had a lover. The current one swinging on him is extremely pretty. He wants to cancel his flight and have her stay with him for an entire week. (“I'm the flight that you get on, international/First class seat on my lap girl/Riding comfortable, cause I know what the girl them need/New York to Haiti, I got lipstick stamps for my passport/You make it hard to leave.”)
In the chorus, he has traveled extensively for his career. Nonetheless, he doesn’t understand a word in any of the countries he’s visited. All he needs is a beautiful woman with the perfectly shaped bottom and he’s set. She touches his face, whispering and he can only imagine what she’s saying. It’s something incredibly naughty. (“Been around the world, don't speak the language/But your booty don't need explaining/All I really need to understand is when, you talk dirty to me/Talk dirty to me, talk dirty to me, talk dirty to me/Get jazzy on me.”)
The women know who he is. They just know he’s famous and good-looking. They speak little to no English and are unable to hold a conversation with him. It’s apparent they want to sleep with a star. He would like to make their dream happen. (“You know the worst in my songs, no habla ingles/Our conversantion ain’t no, but you know what is/I know what that girl them wants, London to Taiwan/I got lipstick stamps for my passport, I think I need a new one.”)
The chorus is sung again without the “get jazzy on me” at the end.
In the bridge, he mentions he went to Brazil He saw one his one of his regulars there. She stayed beside him throughout the evening, kissing him and rubbing his shoulders. She called up one of her friends and she joined them. It was quite a remarkable night. On the flight home, he was still satsfied. (“Uno, met a friend in Rio/Dos, she was all on me-oh/Tres, we can make now a trio/Quatro, oh.”)
Next, 2 Chainz says his tours have been filled to capacity. It has entitled him to some backstage perks. After the shows, he gets plenty of sex. For the girls he enjoys the most, he buys them gifts. He also gives them nicknames on his cellphone. To remind him of which he girl, he uses his favorite body of theirs. (“Dos Cadenas, clothes are genius/Sold out arenas, you can suck my penis/Get with arenas, guns on deck/Chest to chest, tongue on neck/International oral sex/Every picture I take, I pose a threat/Boat or jet, what do you expect?/Her pussy so good I bought her a pet/Anyway, every day I'm trying to get to it/Got her saved in my phone under "Big Booty"/Anyway, every day I'm trying to get to it/Got her saved in my phone under "Big Booty.”)
The chorus is sung again to close the single.
Deruolo’s spoiled vocals care only about what wants. First, it’s a woman who doesn’t speak English (preferably). Otherwise, she may speak up for herself and realize she may doing something she may not want to do. Secondly, she has to be hot. It’s all about looks. Nothing else is important. Third, she has to be in awe of his celebrity and be desperate to get close to it. All of it favors him. It doesn’t give the women any voice.
2 Chainz’s nonchalant rap shrugs it off. It’s just the way it is on tour. Nobody says a word about it. The women surround him and it’s a cattle call. He picks and chooses according to his mood.
The appalling “Talk Dirty” has implications that, once thought about, are bone-chilling.
