I have got a strange problem when i should lose capital ship game crash. It is not important if it is at the beginning of the game or when my fleet is full operational.
Is this a mod? It doesn't happen to me, and I'm sure plenty of other people would have noticed by now.
No it is not a mod. Is it possible that it is caused by the fact that I was playing on Win Xp SP3?
Nope but maybe one of the explosion files for capital ships is corrupted. Verify the game in Steam and see if it rebuilds more than 1 file (slight bug will always show 1 file needing a rebuild).
Not quite the same but similar.
Some of the capital ships (notably the Halcyon) have large chunks of debris which are entirely team colour (e.g. I destroyed a team red Halcyon and there was a huge, solid red piece of debris floating around).
I should add today is the first time I've noticed this.
EDIT: Nevermind, I minidumped shortly after posting this. After restarting and loading my autosave, the old Halcyon debris was as it should be and the next Halcyon I destroyed (the AI sent two at me) also had standard debris.
Steam is reporting that 1 file is damaged but it is constant. I have re instaled the game and still there is the same problem.

The game crashes every time when it is destroyed battleship with my fleet.
The problem applies only to ships of the line
If the enemy destroy my ship, game crashes at once.
My graphics card is a Nvidia GForce GT540M - OS: Windows 7

I also have the same problem... The other thing is even if In multiplayer second player saves the game after the destruction of Capital ship the game wont start.

I changed a language to english and verified a game on steam and it looks like it was fixed. plz check that and send reply

Changing language to english works, but i'd really like to play the game in my native language. Any ideas how to fix the problem other way? Maybe i should wait for a patch or something?
This sounds like a translated string that is badly encoded. Sins uses UTF-8 encoding. See Turkish Characters.
If you can send me your English.str file (send to [email protected] and mention that I requested it), I can give it a quick look and see if anything pops out. May just be missing something easy.
