I'd like all of my Modern apps to run windowed. Everything works great, except the Store app.
It always defaults back to fullscreen after a short while. Any ideas?
From the ModernMix config, make sure the Store is set to windowed by right clicking on the listing for it:
Unfortunately this is due to Microsoft launching the store in the background in hidden mode on login.
ModernMix only applies the settings on app launch and so if you run the store again it will simply show the hidden store vs launching it again.
Is there anyway around this? I would like store to open in a window. Or are we stuck having it open full screen?
If you go into the task manager, you will still see it running after you close it down from full screen mode - close it from there too, and when you reopen it, it will open in a in a window and continue to do so for some time (probably while it remains cached). After a while, it will go full screen again and you have to repeat the process.

I found a way to make Windows Store or another app to run windowed at first time. 
1. Open store app > Open charm bar "Windows key + C" > Settings > Permissions > Turn off Notifications.
2. Open ModernMix Configuration > App settings > find Store > Right click and set it to Windowed.
