I'm sure you don't "suck".  The fact that you like Sins and want to play it makes you an outstanding individual.  If the people around you don't like Sins then get thee hence to another location.  

Have you tried the Sacrifice of Angels mod for Diplomacy?  Look it up on Moddb.com  You will scream and cry with joy.  Then rage because you are just finding out about it now.  Then joy again as you face the Borg.  

Try playing without focus firing.  Oh my God the game takes forever.

Anyone who comes online to play against human opponents is, almost by definition, more skilled than the 99.5% of people who never tried to play it vs. a human player.
