Looks like a new type of asteroid or broken planet.

So the DLC is likely to have at least 1 new planet types, sounds interesting.

I'm hoping broken planet...would give us an alternative to dead asteroids when it comes to SttC...

I think it's not that simple.. Look what Frogboy wrote, "...fun thing...", I don't think a simple new planet type can be that much fun, I guess it is something more complex, maybe new planetary abilities or something.

Let me be clear...I have no idea what they intend to use that planet (if it's even as simple as that) for...but for modding purposes it seems at the very least to be a good alternative to dead asteroids when it comes to SttC...

Yarlen said somewhere that they (devs)  are planning to do something next month (announce, release or something, I can't remember perfectly).

Hope its the next DLC pack. But I hope it features more than a few new techs and some new planet meshes...

Really hoping for new ship types or something in that direction, but not getting my hopes up.
