Map maker not showing galaxy backgrounds for stars

Okay so I decided to make a new map using the map creator. I set up 4 stars (one of each color) and set up the planets and everything. So I hit preview and zoom out as far as possible and everything disappears. Just the default background and the yellow star (which is a random color on the map) I decided to save and go into new game to see if that works and nothing. Using a Random - multi map works fine but the map maker is being wonky. Any solutions? (I have it on Steam with FW)

When you zoom out to the max the background will go away. When you zoom in to normal levels it should reappear. Also protip, you can change which background is displayed by toggling the "Use colored Skyboxes" option until you get one you like.

No the background never appears. It only happens in map maker, not any prebuilt maps or random ones.

I have this problem too, I think!

You have no planets when you zoom right out, right?

 

Just empty 'space'?
