Logitech Issues

Compatability problem

Hi

I am running the new version of Windowblinds -8.0 (purchased) and am running Windows 7 64 on my PC.

On previous versions of Windowblinds, I was able to get my Logitech Gaming Software working by excluding its Lcore.Exe within Windowblinds 'per application' settings.

This adjustment no longer works with the new WB version, instead either the Logitech software crashes, or partially displays.

I have searched this forum, and Googled the problem, but am no nearer finding a solution.

I would appreciate some help, as I would obviously like to run these two programs without issues.

Many thanks

Bumpy-ti-bump.

Same problem here. Excluding LCore.exe doesn't do squat.

Any and all programs launched from 'G-keys' are not fully skinned, nor fully functional because of WB.

WB is nuked for the time being, as I find functionallty more importened than a purdy look.

Logitech Gaming Software ver: 8.46.27

WB:
Windows 7 Home Premium (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130318-1533)
WindowBlinds 7.98 (014 - Windows 7 Edition) - 64 bit OS

    Wblind.dll         2013/06/13 23:23:ll
    Wblind64.dll         2013/06/13 23:23:18
    Wbsrv.dll         2013/06/06 19:12:07

Any chance of a response to this, Is this likely to be resolved or not?

Same problem here - LGS is unusable with WindowBlinds loaded. Excluding LCore.exe doesn't help either. :(

I doubt you will hear anything as Stardock is off for the Holiday and weekend. You may want to bump this thread Mon and Tues if necessary so it is seen.

Hey guys,

I found a solution... You simply have to disable "enhanced graphics" in the LGS settings.

Uncheck this:

PaxMayne you are a star!

Logitech gaming software now works perfectly alongside Windowblinds, following your instructions.

As for Stardock, much as I like your software, I am not at all impressed with your lack of communication on this matter.

Whilst I appreciate the difficulty in making sure Windowblinds works with numerous programs, it wouldn't have hurt for you to have posted a 'work in progress' message, or a 'no can do' even.

Not the best way to treat your customers in my opinion  :annoyed:

PaxMayne thanks again

Not sure why Stardock is responsible for figuring out why Logitech's software isn't compatible with the latest version of WindowBlinds...

mepsipax_ ... I think you'll find this just an unfortunate case of timing.  The July 4 holiday period would have interupted Official Support response.

One or two of us [from Stardock] are outside the US [and not on a holiday] but are thus unable to engage in the Support ticket process...;)

Hi Jafo

 I completely forgot about the July 4th holidays (I guess there's a reason us Brits don't celebrate  :) )

Thanks for taking the time to reply, and I will make sure to use the support ticket method if needs be in the future.

Yep, that 'fixed' the issue with the config window, but applications launched with G-keys are still partly unskinned/non-functional.

It's the other way round. WB is the reason LGS isn't working properly.
