[Suggestion] Don't you consider dodge useless?

It's hard to tell how disappointed it is when I trained a hero with all my effort who has a 200+ dodge, but spiked by a milita of tarth, who has a accuracy about 1000+, at the turn number of 300.

Would it be hard for the programmer or the designer, calculate the hit rate like this:

accuracy / (accuracy + dodge)

instead of the stupid

accuracy - dodge?

Regarding to the acccuraccy, it's really rediculious that a juggunant of Trog would often be killed easily by another spearman of Gilden in any epic game. called the warlock, but their army have nothing out of accuracy, while any other AI may refind the attack and defence.

It's underpowered not useless.

How do you get militia with such a high accuracy....?  I know you're exaggerating with 1000+... but still, other than going up a point per level, doesn't militia have a rather standard accuracy, like 80 or 90 maybe?

I like dodge quite a bit.  Of course it's spikey, like crit, so you may have some runs where you don't dodge at all.  But a well-timed dodge will also completely negate an attack by even the scariest of foes.  Plus it doesn't slow you down, like heavy armor.

Dodge has saved my rear end many times. I like it.

Are the numbers accurate or hyperbole?

Dodge will save your life against those maulers... Umber with tame and some bears would be more than scary with no dodge :) Assuming there was multiplayer

I like dodge better than defense - even when my tank hero has twice as much defense as enemies have attack, the armor/damage calculation seems to let a nontrivial amount through, if enough trained units gang up on a defender it accumulates quickly. Meanwhile my assassin can ignore a hoard of enemies, enough dodge makes you nearly invulnerable in a way defense never will.

I'm assuming the OP's numbers are exaggerated, but if they're at all based on real values, I'd like to know how an AI militia is getting more accuracy than a hero has dodge if he's built to max it? Do remember that the minimum hit chance is 3% no matter how much dodge you have, so you'll always have a 3% chance to get unlucky.. but you'll practically never see two unlucky hits in a row against a properly dodge-stacked hero, so you only really need enough hp/armor to survive a single hit now and then.

Dodge would be useful if it wouldn't be for a specific Tech in the military tree... :/

Seriously, +10% Accuracy in like 20 rounds?

I really didn't abandon the hope for dodge, but it is pretty clear that it's easier to get high accuracy.

I like the dodge mechanic.. adds some options...

I do not like chance-to-hit in turn based games. A broad damage range is enough randomness for me.

While I dislike the whole mechanic, I do use it sometimes, when I already have some dodge to start with. Assassins (that were forced on to me) and Wraith units start with quite some dodge, making it worthwhile to increase it further.

Don't tell me you didn't try Wraith+Lucky units with the 2 +10 dodge traits for a massive 50% dodge chance without any dodge items =), sick sick dodge.
