[Bug] Monsters 'not attacking' AI

...again ? :p

 Just kidding. Well, almost...

I know there was quite a discussion over this topic during FE beta. I think this is NOT the same problem (actually, I saw a Butchermen army dispatching some AI defenders later that game).

The problem: AI and monster stack are occupying the same tile without apparent fight or casualties.

The (possible) cause: moves taking place on the same time period with one of the armies targetting a tile further away and thus not checking the intermediary ending tile...

On this screenshot, you can (not) see a Skirmisher unit just below Sssrip's stack. The following turn, each army went its own way, without any will to fight.

Can't you read between the lines? Even Ssrip needs no-strings-attached sex once in awhile. But now you've gone and broadcast this to the whole world? Ssrip's PR guy probably just shit three bricks.

You're no nun, buddy. We all have secrets to keep, so show some respect.

Did you build the roads in that ZoC? They're very strange. I wonder if the fact that they're on a road tile and traveling somewhere may be an issue?

I did not. There was a city of Capitar; I conquered it and it was attacked and razed two turns later by this 'Sssrip', so I placed an Arcane Monolith in order to secure the fire shard nearby and some other ressources. This explains the somewhat complex road network... ;)

It is possible that the road multiplier disturbs the way movements are calculated and checked.

I have seen a wildling moving into my outpost:

I have seen an enemy sovereign moving on a lair and not clearing it out:

I have seen the AI settling on an iron ore:

.. and it happened always while reloading a game. Its like everything moves before the world is loaded and they dont see whats there.

I am quite sure now the problem is there.

Loading a save force completion of your current move; I saw a game where I was forced to enter a quest combat just after loading, without having any chances to cast support spell like Cloak of Nature and so on... Problematic when you have to fight a dragon ^^

Also, it seems that loading gives you one illegitimate full turn of ressources production (mana, gildar,...)

Bref, looks like there definitely is something fishy in the save/load mechanism.
