Wow what a newb I am. Just got home from the oil patch and finally downloading the LH beta. I also picked up Civ 4 from Steam (+ expansions) as well. I also decided to get the Fall From Heaven 2 mod eventually. Never played it before but wanna see what all the hype is about with that mod . This next hitch is going to be the best one ever!!!
Never mind me... just seeing how 'edit' works with the new features in the Forums...;)
Fall from heaven 2 is so fantastic. The lore and the different nations, I played that for so many hours I loved it so much. My nerdy heart broke when I heard the stand alone wasn't going to be made.
I love FFH so much.
Once you pick up the mechanics, do yourself a favor and go to this thread:

and get the AI mod. It VASTLY improves the AI.
FfH2, by far the best fantasy game made. And its a volunteer/fan effort. Each civilization is really different from all the others, and requires very different tactics, strategies, and synergies. Genius.. I still play it.
I like Master of Mana, WIldmana, Orbis, Fall Further and Rise of Erebus.
