KoK goes Full ****** in eco spot

What do you do when you host a game and then you get the eco slot?  Start feeding people.  That's all fine and good, but wouldn't it make sense to at least colonize your asteroid and your moon and perhaps to slowly take some other planets while you build up your eco and feed?  Judiciously colonizing planets and building trade ports on them is not that huge of an impediment to feeding your team, certainly not when you're TEC.

In tonight's game, King of Kings started out in an eco slot and failed to colonize any planets at all (!!!)  Now, I can appreciate the value of early feed, but would it really be that tough to go colonize your moon and your asteroid?  Do you really want to allow a player on the opposing team to colonize your moon and culture bomb you without a fight?  (Yes, that really happened, his one planet was being overrun by enemy culture.)  When I saw that he only had his home terran I thought for sure we were desynced.  We weren't.  It's a shame because it could have been a good game if he had tried.

lol dirty it was just one incident so you want to justify you shouldn't just let anyone join a game? Take it easy. It's a just a game but now you know how to deal with him next time. Don't kick people Dirty! Everybody needs a chance to get to know how to play the game but the worst part is those who don't play single player games with unfair ai's then want to join pro games online.

Well KoK has 2 strategies he uses nowadays almost exclusively both involve capping 0 planets.

1. Rush ankylon + some carriers/ hcs and get blocked in on the hw

or

2. Rush Sova/Kol + vettes to double the closest guy etc... Leave/flame when it fails

 

I have yet to see it work even against players i would consider low/mid skill. Position is irrelevant, last game he doubled me with gibbs from eco spot with lvl 3 kol + vettes, failed, flamed his ally and left.

 

I have yet to see kok either win a game or be useful in the last month, but smth always makes me join his game or make room for him in mine... no idea what it is!

I am having a hard time grasping the fact of anything associated with Tropic Thunder being 'famous'. But I am sure posts like this will decline and will return to "how come nobody plays multi-player, it's sooo much better than playing the AI".  |-O
