Audio mutes when window loses focus

Anyone else had this problem - when the window loses focus, the sound from that window mutes. Very annoying when using a Windows 8 App to watch tv and click onto your browser window.

In most cases thats a good thing as with games you don't want their audio when they are not foreground, but we understand with some apps thats less ideal.

With that in mind we plan to see about offering an option to specifically allow apps to continue their audio when inactive, but this will be on a per app basis.

Some apps already handle it correctly such as the youtube player app.

The Netflix app does NOT lose audio when focus is changed.  In my situation, I run on two monitors and if I run the Netflix app without Modern Mix on one monitor, I can do other things on the other monitor with no problem.  For me, when I run Netflix windowed, it stops completely if I change focus.

After a bit of research, I understand this limitation is within Windows 8.  Metro apps can only be multitasked with one other Metro app if they share the same screen.  When you window a Metro app, Windows 8 prevents it from running concurrent with the desktop.  This limits ModernMix as you cannot run apps like Netflix and multitask with the desktop.

We are looking into removing that restriction too on a per app basis.

Removing that restriction would be perfect.  The netflix app is pretty slick, and being able to have it open in a window and do other things at the same time would be a huge bonus.
