1. Do you have Windowblinds (the program) installed?

2. If the program is not installed you won't be able to apply the "skins" which you see in the Windowblinds Gallery.

3. What OS are you using (so that I can tell you where to look for the program Windowblinds) - It should be in the equivalent of

C: Programs (486 if you're on a 64 bit system)/Stardock/Windowblinds.

4. The skins should be in C:Users/Public/Public Documents/Stardock/Windowblinds.

*If Windowblinds (the program) has downloaded as a zip, where are you downloading from?

Hi miccyd, First things first. When you click on the download button try and make sure you click on 'save file'. This will prevent it from going straight to your zip program.

Click on the installer and let it run. You'll need to reboot your system afterwards. After reboot click on the desktop icon, looks like a paint palette. The config window will open up. There is a list of pre-installed skins. Click on one then click apply changes and that skin should appear. For new skins you download....they come in two flavors... one is .wba and the other is a .zip. There are two ways you can install them. With the .wba just clicking on that one will make it automatically install. For the .zip its easiest from the config window. Click on import skin. A window will open up and just navigate to where you downloaded the skin, most likely in your download folder. Click on the .zip and Windowblinds will do the install that way. Another way is to right click on the .zip and change the file extension from .zip to .wba. Then click on it to install. All of the other folders you can probably delete. you only need the one and that's created when you install Windowblinds. A tip: Any skins you download from any program always choose save file. These, like the installer, act as back ups just in case. Hope this helps.

probably the best way (depending on the which blind, some are uploaded as a zip file) or attempt with a different browser.

good idea to mention which blind it is also.
