[WIP] Space Ponies

Greetings everyone,

Due to unemployment and a need to diversify my skillset, I have got my hands on a copy of Autodesk Softimage 2011 and intend to start learning 3D model creation by starting with one of my favorite games - Sins of a Solar Empire! What I have noticed is that there is a decided lack of Space Ponies from the modding community of a game which includes it as an Easter egg. As such, I have decided to begin work on rectifying this problem. 



Introducing The New Lunar Republic!

Princess Luna is building her fleet and I hope to have it constructed over the next month or two. I don't plan to go extensively into diversifying their research tree and may even lazy out and do a direct copy of the advent tree. What I'm intending to do is build the models and see what comes from that. If the work goes smoothly even then I may even launch Princess Celestia's armada for the Solar Empire.

Ah, I don't browse the off-topic stuff too often. Looks like this was created so that a bunch of pony threads wouldn't open up, which is good. We have our own forums for that  XD

I like my baby. It's one of the few places where I allowed to freely discuss ponies aside from threads that relate to ponies, like this one, or ones where people bring them up.

So I'm curious. Reformed Discord. Trolls claiming Derpy is dead. Twilight becoming an Alicorn at some point. 

What think?

Also, we need more Luna. Maybe with Trixie as a protege just to establish an actual rival to Twilight that doesn't rely on cheats/hacks/dangerous magical items sold by strange stallions/drug dealers/sketchy Leon.

I watched My Little Pony with my four year old. I found it no wonder that the demographic that loves it is males between 21 and 35. There's an awful lot of jokes that are geared towards that group. 

If anything, it gave my daughter and I a bonding moment. She loves that show. I however, am by no means a brony. Having said that, I still find this idea humorous.
