hey guys, firstly, i am a noob on sins!!! but, i do love the game immensly! i am not good with computers, but i try to understand.  i wish to play online, i have had a look at some of the help on the forum, but i am VERY VERY confused and frustrated! please give me an EASY

WAY to get online and play with human players, i am 38 and have time to learn things but this is rediculas!!!!! why is it so difficult to get online????????????????

 

please please help, no more confusion!!!!!

Hello, you are my man, I am also new to Sins multiplayer, if you want to we can play online, I don't understand the logics of it too, just join a 5v5 game without knowing anything about it? or organise a match with people you know? I don't know anyone who plays this game... it would be good to play some games before getting in the 5v5-s to get familiar with things how to play with and against humans not AI.

 

If you're interested, send me a private message or just tell me here in a comment, it would be great to play with someone who hasn't played online for years..

What version of the game are you playing?  Original Sins, Entrenchment, Diplomacy, or Rebellion?  If it's Rebellion you simply click "Ironclad Online" (as long as you have Steam up and running) and there you go.  For the earlier versions you also click Ironclad Online but need to create an account with a password first.  There aren't too many people left playing the earlier versions online though; the action is on Rebellion.

I agree that it's confusing.  The "Multiplayer" button is really for setting up LAN/direct connect to IP games.
