The Karateka remake.
Just try it, you will see what I am talking about.
It seems that while graphics and animation is moving forward, game design is evolving backward till it hit the brick wall of drooling stupidity that is this game. It's not even a game, it's a monkey training tool. Unbelievable.

The 1st Karataka could be won using only 2 keys.
I know, I did it multiple times.
Move forward and high kick. (probably other combos too, but that's the one I did since I liked it when the birds or whatever they were flew into your crotch when you kicked high... yah, I was 12 or something back then...)
I have no idea what the new Karataka is supposed to be like, but I cannot see how it could possibly be any less interesting from a game mechanic point of view than the first one, unless you can win it with one key press only :p
On the other hand, if you just mean that they are remaking a pointless time waster of a game, then I guess you're right.
