I have  a ton of unicorn stuff in my office, not sure that makes me a brony or not.  And for years, many times when Brad or Derek would talk about additions or changes to the game, I would ask about adding ponies.  Over and over

Fans of the new G4 My Little Pony show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic". Mostly refers to the older male viewers of the show, but female fans use it too. A Brony is generally pretty involved in the community at large. Brony 1: What's your favorite pony? Brony 2: Fluttershy, cause she's just so cute! Brony 3: Hey man, those are fighting words. Rarity is obviously the best pony! Brony 2: What are you going to do? Brony 3: I'm gonna love and tolerate the crap out of you. *hugs*

Yep! That why i see the love in tagging you with a Brony Faction. Is an inside joke dating way back. Good stuff for many laughs. i thought it quite cool that Stardock seems to have played along.. opening a new door to the adventure of Lord Xia and The FE Bronies

Yep. I'm a Xia groupie, going back to Sep '10 when the very first thread I read (after buying EWOM at Target, installing, and going WTF!) was a Xia rant about incest in the dynasty system. I'll never forget that. He deserved a pony for it.

lol crazy days. i 'member back to when Xia was a raving lunatic like me. Now he's all mellow and respectful and reasonable like and totally made his amends. Enough to get a Pony! i'm jealous, where is the Elk ?? a white Elk. 

..but i'm still subject to go off on a nut. i'm tryin but am weak.

You know, this might not be the place but....

i've really enjoyed this ride. Was a bit rocky at some early times. But that was good cuz much humaness come to surface. Was a blast all of it. A predictably unpredictable rollercoaster. Big energy on the forums at times, from both sides of the spectrum. Through it all a core community coalesced and by and by we come to tighten up. Dropping off flakes and trolls while tempering addicts and fanboyz. Some been here day by day from day one, and about every single day. Some like me come and go. Others are new and click right in better than some old-timers. There are the community foundations, whom i need not name for they are foundations who become so easily known. It's been fun. Beyond the game it's been fun. i enjoy you all and am glad that Stardock fosters such. Is good

i wonder how many quest scrolls  i would have to do to get ponies for all my henchmen...

I forgot about the incest.   Think I named the topic "Stardock promotes Incest" and they changed it, it was funny.  One of the many flaws(or perks if you are from the American South) was that you could marry brother to sister under the right circumstances.  

I too am pleased to see Lord Xia finally get his pony.  I almost couldn't believe it when I saw that in the changelog one day, thought Derek was teasing us at first. To me this is just icing on the cake, proof that Stardock appreciates the community they have here and really enjoys interacting with us.  I haven't gotten the pony quest yet, but am eagerly anticipating seeing it appear.  Now if only I could give my sovereign that stylish Xia eyepatch... Hey heavenfall, there's an idea for your next reliquary item!

This whole thread made me smile, I love the whole pony debate. I guess I would qualify as a hardcore Brony since I got a purple my little pony tattooed on my forearm (the "original" my little pony, not those horrible new ones). In my defense I got it as a symbol for my daughter, maybe that makes it a little less cheesy...but only a little.

Had my first pony sighting this evening!

Obviously the game looked at the overly-serious background I wrote for this guy and decided he needed to lighten up, as I have been getting all kinds of silliness in this game:

Yes, that's my embittered general, who lost everything in the uprising against his Imperial overlords, riding a purple pony and wearing a rusty  bucket on his head while taking his pets for a walk.

I'm not even a beastmaster, I just keep finding pets everywhere I go.

I think I love this game.

 

Got me. It was more the other way around. I used my daughter as an excuse to get a My little pony tattoo. And its the best tattoo ever!
