I'm a proper fan boy now!

Just got a brand new iPad3, so, along with my iPhone and iMac I must qualify as a Mac fanboy now!

I'm really liking the iPad so far, the retina display is REAL nice!!

Any tips for me? (Snowy, I ain't using it as a doorstop!!) :)

Any app recommendations?

Zite and Flipboard are great news apps.

Pocket is cool for reading web sites offline.

Chrome synchronizes nicely with the desktop version.

FilmOn let's you watch TV.

the Google search app is interesting when you set the language to English-US and play with the voice search.

Google Earth is much more fun with a tablet than on a desktop.

if you still got iOS 5 consider waiting with the upgrade to iOS 6 until Google finishes it's Maps and Youtube app. else Jasmine is a good Youtube client.

special tip: Make Your Own Clock https://itunes.apple.com/en/app/make-your-own-clocks/id503860405?mt=8 it's pretty easy to skin, even i could do it: http://customize.org/misplugs/90470

Free App of the Week in the App Store...make sure to grab them as normally, they are great apps. This weeks is a game called "LostWinds 2: Winter of the Melodias".

If you have a XBox, be sure to grab "Smart Glass"

You can also find some free app pointers on this site... http://freeappaday.com/ and some usefull stuff at http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/

Also, go ahead and update to iOS6 if you haven't already. You can create a link to google maps without a problem and iOS6 gives you Siri among other things.

Accessing Google Maps is really easy—just follow the steps below.

1. Open the Safari browser and go to maps.google.com
2. Tap the Share button (on the bottom middle of the screen on iPhone, at the top on iPad)
3. Tap “Add to Home Screen”
4. Tap “Add” in the upper right corner of the screen
5. Now, simply tap on the icon and let Google Maps get you where you want to go!

Oh, well offcourse.

I'd rather have my leg bitten off by a rabid infected koala, and die a slow, painfull death before stooping to the depth of sadness it is being an Apple user/sheep.

How does WB look on that iPad?  :P

Not any better than on Win 8 I suppose x_x

Australia doesn't have rabies.....or to put it more correctly.....there is no rabies in Australia.

Unfortunately the Tassie Devil does have a disease named after it [always a bad sign]... Devil Facial Tumour Disease [DFTD].

On the other hand... Drop Bears can only really fall on you and crush you to death....;p

Seriously, Bry, Apple products aren't for everyone, but if they suit your needs, then why not! :)

Though you are a proper fan boy we still have a place for you at the Oval Table. Down the end......far left. Take the seat with the long conical black hat on it. Don't mind the lettering, somebody left out the 'N' and the 'E' so it reads D

                                                                                                                   U

                                                                                                                   N

                                                                                                                   C

                                                                                                                   E
