New ship type for titan counter

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by. Ive been playing alot of Rebellion lately and like many others, Ive come to dread the Eradica titan.

Im calling for a new ship type to be added. A "Perseus" ,if you will, to these soase Titans. I feel they should be in the cruiser class. These new cruiser vessels ought to be primarily fleet support with weapon types effective against titans and abilities that at least threaten to keep a fleet alive against the dreaded Eradica. These abilities would add little to no advantage against normal fleets without titans.

I would hate to see this implemented.  Partially because you seem to want it just for one specific Titan (In which case you should be complaining about "balancing" the Eradica), and partially because if this existed, Titans would never be built again.  Seriously, if people are hell-bent-obsessed with having a hard counter for high level titans, then the only thing I could reasonably see happening is a damage buff to capitol ships vs Titans.  At least then there is a way to limit the number of counter-Titan ships to a small enough number that they can't be spammed by one person to insta-pop a 9500/1200/700 investment that takes a VERY long time to build in the first place.  A hard counter to Titans that could be mass-produced(Even if it used 20+ fleet Supply) would absolutely negate the whole point of having a Titan in the first place.  Personally, I kinda wish the only real counter to a Titan was another Titan.  Although apparently Corvettes en masse seem to be effective according to a few people I've talked with.  And Bombers do counter them very effectively as well.  (Of course, what useful units DON'T Bombers counter these days...)

First, to clear things up a bit, the proposed cruiser would counter all titans not just the eradica. 

I like your capital ship damage buff against titans. Actually, adding a new anti-titan cap was my first idea. But, ironically, i didnt think anyone would agree. 

The only titan id actually feel the need to use these proposed new ships on would be the eradica tho soooo.

That titan is just unstoppable past level 4. ESPECIALLY*** when you have that noob teamate (you know what im talking about)  in the suicide spot/frontline just feeding the hell out of it while the econ in the pocket feeds him 4x what everyone on the other team is getting from their econ, in a desperate hope that 100k might enable him to actually dent the thing.

Something that could only target titans might help, but we won't see that in game. 

We could see battlecruiser design with capital weapon and ability like "bonus module damage" that affects titan only so titan armor takes additional damage, but other ships don't.  Make the ship a glass cannon, fairly quick, and long range.  Suddenly even high level titans have to worry.

Research for ship, at least tier 5 (6 labs).
