Hosting 5s with

No titans, VR allowed but no mobilization

Read title. 

I host a lot of 5s most of the time. I wanna try some games without Titans and adding VR back in the mix, just not allowing Starbase mobilization. Vasari Rebels have other neat unique abilities, not only the jumping SBs, so it's a shame to not see them in play at all tbh. 

Will you join these games? Any other things that should be banned, like wail?

You can't really enforce anything but banning factions though. After the game starts, what can you do to someone who picks VR but does get starbase mobilization?

I wish that certain players would have honor.

Yet, these same players smurf and stack teams all the time, so they would use any excuse to waste everyone's time by just researching the tech and mowing people down with starbases anyways.

It's just the way some of these people operate.

You allow VR, you allow everything VR can throw at you.

period.

I'll blacklist them and see if it works. Tbh most people on the games I host are really not that bad at manners. 

 

I don't see why you would want 7 people raging at you for ruining their game. Talking about skilled 5s anyway.

Why not just play the Diplomacy expansion?

Because a win is a win....and some people want to win at all costs...

Because some people are trolls....

Because some people are asshats....

Because some people will pretend like they don't speak english and will go "No ingles!"....

 

All those things occur on a regular basis in skilled games...hell, skilled players are willing to troll role-playing ICO games on normal speed...if they're willing to put up with that I'm pretty sure they can put up (if not be inspired by) a bunch of people bitching at them.....
