[.99 UI Issue] I can't be the only player out there that mouses over a unit on the battlefield to try and get its movement points and can't...

Still pushing for this easy UI fix please.

Understanding movement points is one of the first things you do in a tactical battle.  This seems vitally important to me.  What do the rest of you do?  Settle for looking in two different places?  I would prefer to look in one place.

I think the main reason we didn't put it in there (aside from space) is that when you hover over a unit the pink highlight on the map shows you how far they could move, complete with adjustments for blocked tiles and moving past other units... which seems more useful than the number

Agreed.

Yes, absolutely, moves are important enough to be in the tool tip, but at least we can look at the detail screen, or count squares on the tactical map.

There's another thing I would like to see in the tactical battle engine. You know how you can mouse over an unit on the tactical map, and have its positions on the turn queue highlighted? As in "When does this unit move?"

I would like the reverse as well. Being able to mouse over a position in the queue, and see which unit the icon represents. I.e. "Which unit will move at that time?"

Good one.  I've asked for this before, but we haven't seen it implemented yet.  Along the same vain, I would like to be able to cast a spell on the icon in the turn order tree too.

Definitely!

While we're at it, does anyone else have issues where the tactical map isn't zoomed out far enough? I had one battle against bandits where I thought I killed them all and then, surprise! There was an archer that wasn't on the screen. Easy to take care of, but strange it didn't zoom out far enough to show it.
