Sites?

When I try to go to peoples sites through their profile I’m taken to the WinCutomize home page. The only other way I know is through the galleries which means I can only view 1 page. I tried to raid Kitty’s stuff last night, 1 page…needless to say I was disappointed, is there another way? Thanks.

Can you get to https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/all/pagesize/30/view/list/author/Vampothika ?

Yeah, is that it? Can I use the old site? XD

When going from the "Profile" page to the "Wincustomize site", the link returns me to the home page, Zu.

Some people did not have a personal site setup, and since they have since been discontinued it would redirect to the homepage.

The link from the profile is not working for those who do have a personal site either. It has always worked in the past so something is definately not working properly. It is a shame that there is no easy way for a visitor to view all of a skinners gallery. One page just doesn't cut it. >_>

Most of us "REALLY old folks" know how to visit and view our own stuff. I am just saying that visitors to the site should have an easy way to view all of the skins available from a particular skinner. It makes no sense that the option is not available. I am sure it would enhance the user experience. :meow: :hugme:

If you go to the menu at the top and choose explore all and then search by the user name it shows you their stuff from all categories

I tried that , I put in skinit as both 1 and 2 two words, only things named that came up.

Anyone creating skins should put a link to their gallery in each upload otherwise they won't get seen and will soon be buried. ;) It just makes no sense to not have any easy path to these things for the skinner or the site or visitors. -_-

That is marvelous, but again the average casual visitor to the site will not know these things. This is the only site I participate in that does not have an easy, clear link to a skinners gallery. It should be a basic function of the site. >_>

It's actually very easy.  You are on a skin page, click the username and you are taken to their skins.

But that only takes you to a profile page

But that only takes you to a profile page

Which shows their latest skins and info, and a button on the right side to view the full list of skins.

I'll see why the forum profiles aren't linking to there though.

are you able to see "view skins" ?

i know if i go to the forums and left click on someones name, there is an option to go to the wincustomize page ( view vampothikas profile)

(i still have mine there) so you will be able to get my stuff...

i have a personal page

but you might not return......muahha!!!!! hahah!! ^_^

ID this is what should IMO be linked to when Clicking a skinners name.. http://islanddog.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx   If a skinner dont have a personal page then possibly. https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/all/pagesize/30/view/list/author/islanddog   Rather than the current Recent skins list which only shows a few skins.  Tho I think having the skins List with "thumbs" would be a better Idea.  As the average user shouldn't have to jump thru hoops to find a skinners gallery..

Intuitive navigation is the key to a user friendly site. Folks come for skins, they should be able to find them relatively easily.

The point of it going to a profile like this https://www.wincustomize.com/users/673228/islanddog, is because that offers basic info about the person including their recent skins.

I don't think two clicks is jumping through many hoops.
