This needs a separate topic. I keep mixing food and grain together when reading any description in game. Grain should be renamed something more fitting.
I vote for renaming it Fertility.
EDIT: After discussion below, I change my voit to Soil. Title changed accordingly.
Yeah merge grain and growth into one stat and call it fertility. Solved.
Farmland is the best choice, given all the other improvements in the game for grain.
Farmland is best, by far.
Soil is a bit odd to increase via cultivation of wheat farms. (since its the other way around)
And soil is related to wood production too which is "materials" in the this game.
Food should remain as food.
Pfff, "farmland". Rename grain to cheese and rename food to cheeseburgers.
By the way, it's quite ridiculous that the only source of food in the game at the moment seems to be grain.
Wild game adds "grain" so apparently the sov is a member of peta and the subjects are being all sneaky about it
