Super Titans would be a good basis for the next expansion. A super Titan is to a Titan what a Titan is to a Capital ship. Takes 5 captains and 500 fleet supply. With this, it will be possible to take down a level 10 Eradica. Any other ideas for the next expansion?
I have always missed something like a Cruiser that is more like a capital ship. All ships except capitals and titans have a specific role and only one attack (I think. Was a while since I played Sins.). I've always found that boring. Give me something between a frigate and a capital with a couple different attacks. Would add to the eye candy too.

Some of us need more drugs, not less. 
And the fourth race is coming, even if they only put it in a Sins 2 campaign. (Pwetty Pwees?) Sins is pretty much a precursor to the entire conflict as far as I'm concerned. I don't necessarily want them playable, but I do want to see a fourth race in the game.

Srsly though, orbitting planets and no phase lanes. You can go anywhere you want but travel time is based on distance. Also, better planet combat mechanics (landing parties or some such, just nuking the planet to a crisp and immediately moving in always seemed a bit silly to me, planets should actually change and carry scars from large scale battles). New ship designs to shake up the current line up would be nice but the fleet combat dynamics this game offers are among the best I've seen, no need to go monkeying too hard with those.
Amazing how all those years ago, games like Homeworld with moving turrets and battle scarred ships will be so hard to do now...

I think they should add in destroyers its just the last missing piece of the puzzle.
Introduce Solar Grand Melee winning condition.
Teams mutually agree and declares stalemate in game - (team(s) has drops or just don't want to suffer prolonged game because of belligerent afk'r or the like).
Each team chooses principal fleet(s) up to 1/2 of a players max fleet supply to assemble for showdown at Sun.
Wormholes connect to Sun, phase lanes are locked, and solar radiation timer starts 20 min countdown to Coronal Mass Ejections, followed by complete Nova in 10 more minutes.
Team with most fleet supply left standing or intact at time of Nova wins.
Then again, could just make Sins 2.
Players should get killing streaks for killing capital ships...kill 3 you can see whole map, kill 5 you can spawn a gamma burst, and kill 7 to earn immunity to minidumps....
And it should have an announcer voice like in UT.

Ragnorav that can shoot a death star laser as its ultimate and has nova autocannons.
And aliens. I want aliens to fight. Not some lame feminized culture. Or some weird demonic insect.

I want a Death Star, destroys everything the gravity well it enters, including the planet. (or star....magnetic cloud....screw it, black hole too)
