How do I kill the Eradica titan?

How do I kill the Eradica titan?

Fully upgraded tech tree. So Ive got 2160 fleet supply as VR. upgraded Starbase, level 10 titan, at an asteroid planet. Got my full fleet there with 140 bombers 40 fighters and 2-3 korstuls, and this Eradica wont go down. It takes forever to drop its hull and shields and then when I get it down to 5000 or so it heals, and my fleet cant get replaced fast enough with Returning Dark armada (4 nodes producing) and 4 factories. After my first starbase went down I warped in another one but my fleet is mostly gone and the enemy has no fleet in the well but I cannot take the Eradica down no matter what I do.

Can you give me details on tactics against the Eradica? My starbases are 3 offense, 4 defense, 1 deflector shield.

Ive taken out other titans in this game but they just get replaced at full level, not much of a penalty.

Im playing a medium star and 3 other Unfair enemies and they are all attacking me, cant seem to make any headway. Cant seem to get one to ally. If I leave a well to attack one enemy, 1 or 2 enemies jump in to attack my other 2 asteroid planets and they wont survive.

If phase missiles from turrets don't do the work upgrade them to disable passive regeneration  }:) .

They are serious handicap to most human players and deadly for any level of titan controlled by AI. Funny enough only titan controlled by AI that can sort of manage this combo is Coronata - advent loyal titan. Given they get very high mitigation and pm block.......

Honestly though, the real reason the Advent have so much trouble with phase missiles is they lack any widely available hull repair abilities. Low armor & hull contribute too, but the biggest problem is they are mostly stuck with every hull damage they suffer(by contrast other factions getting 30/hull a sec or more outsustains a decent portion of incoming phase missile damage). To be as capable at dealing with phase missiles as other factions they are either going to need to better hull repair options OR a substantial mitigation of shield piercing damage, The current 16.66666667% damage cut(which is the equivalent of a 20% reduction in sins math) in culture just doesn't really cut it.

While it sounds very high I suspect advent techs should be grants a grand total of something in the area of +50% PMB. This would result in about a 33% reduction in Phase missiles damage- which corresponds nicely to the roughly 33% reduction in damage the Advent's +10% shield mitigation from techs they receive against other weapon types types. This could easily be accomplished by having both techs that currently give PMB in culture(the second two culture techs) having their bonus increased from 5/10% to 10/20% and adding +5/10% PMB in culture to Zealous worship(the first culture tech which previously has given no PMB).

Bilun! Advent do have a phase missile Block ability on the rapture Battle-cruiser against frigates and fighters.

I'm going to assume you're referring to Vertigo.  You're correct that it certainly does a great job of mitigatin phase missile frigates.  But it does not affect strikecraft.  It's an odd tick, but for targeting the AoE fighters can be targeted, but the actual debuff does not get applied to strikecraft.

This is one of the many reasons(Advent have a number of plenty efficient ways of dealing with squishy LRF frigates) Vasari Bombers, titans, & starbases are the main phase missiles the Advent could use some help dealing willing.

Referenced!

Read it carefully and you will see that a rapture and an halcyons abilities defend against bombers, fighters, phase missiles  and enhance the overall fire-power of the fleet.

Double Cap start ftw! :* :digichet:

Wiki is wrong...double wrong actually...

Vertigo works as such...Rapture targets an entity to apply buff BuffShipCrippleSpawner....this buff in turn applies buff BuffShipCrippleTarget to all nearby ships....it is the Target buff that actually applies the penalty to accuracy and such...

It used to be that you could target a whole bunch of different things (including SC), but that targeting only applied the Spawner buff...the target buff was restricted to only frigates...so, if you targeted a strikecraft, that strikecraft would basically end up being the "center" of the vertigo debuff AoE, which would only affect frigates near the targeted strikecraft...

Recently though (I don't remember which update) the devs changed the targeting so people would no longer get confused...Vertigo now can only target frigates and corvettes (Spawner buff still only affects frigates and corvettes as well), preventing any confusion...

you smarted me up this time but don't get so comfortable because i still don't believe your tale of how the devs confused us on purpose and now just made changes to vertigo without putting it in the change log.
