Any chance I can get version 2.10 somewhere?
If you ever installed from the web store or from SDC you should have a installer file.

I did with Impulse.

How long before this may be fixed?

Hmmm, I must be one of the lucky ones, I have shadows with my cursor and I'm using the lastest version of CursorFX.  Go figure.  :S

Have you tried to change the opacity?  Yes, the shadow works but is so dark to be distracting so I had to turn it off.

So, is this fixed yet?

Evidently not, as there has not been an update since the problem was reported Jim.  I had to disable my shadows, because no matter what you set them at, the program applies a dark shadow and does not even use your X,Y settings at all.

I have found the ultimate fix!!!!!!!

Drop back to 2.10.

Cute Jim. but a few of us do not have that option as we did not save the installer. Would be nice but isn't an option. You would think that in darn near a month that the issue could be resolved. How dare us expect that purchased software should perform as promised! :|

or at least a timeline as to a fix.

I must admit "updates to the next version number" is far less attractive if 50%(or more) of the updates tend to break something. The complete silence from SD on this does nothing to instill confidence in their software.

If you have been around Stardock/WinCustomize for any length of time you know that establishing time lines and posting of them only allows the rest of us to put pointy ends on our sticks and start poking at people.  No one ever comes out of the ordeal with a smile on their face.  :O

Sorry but it should not be that way. Like I said, this software is not free and we have a right to expect a speedy solution to the problem. Icon Packager has been totally borked on Win 7  64 bit for years and does not look like it will ever be fixed. >_>

Drop back to 2.10.

One would think Stardock would have this version somewhere. It would be nice if they gave us a link so some of us can enjoy what we had.

At least until this is fixed.

By now most of us should be using SDC. SDC auto archives your apps. So if you use SDC, you should have a copy.

Rolling back has it's own set of issues that can become even more complicated.  We're working on a resolution.

Since SDC did NOT recgonise it, and had to be removed with Impulse, which I removed and reinstalled (with NO luck) SDC did not backup 2.10.

Rolling back is not an issue with me.

Anyone who is willing to pm me and send 2.10, I'd be more than happy. After all, It's been 3 weeks, for something we paid for.

My current subscription to the Object Desktop Network will soon be expiring on Monday, July 23, 2012, due to lack of software maintenance, I'm not going to extend.
