How many europeans plays Rebellion?

It´s no joke when the sun goes up here in Europe, Rebellion isn´t at the top 100 of the most played games on steam at the moment.

I wonder how many of you are here in our beloved country : D (sorry for my bad south-european english!).

I'm Danish and I'll probably be getting Rebellion if there's enough new stuff in there but I do have the trinity pack!

PS: Europe and the US have common interests so we're pretty much the strongest alliance there's been around for a long time. Not to mention the fact the US was founded and still largely is run by European immigrants so yeah no real point to be hostile towards somebody who's basically familiy and share largely the same goals with.

Europeans do not play Rebellion...they debate it in committee each night and publish resolutions to play in the future.

Europe is not a country.  When the stuff hits their fan, it will be every nation for themselves.

United States. Teetering on the edge of financial crisis and massive debt failure. When the feds fail, you'll have to all fight for yourselves.

I think it'd actually be pretty cool if we had a poll feature on this forum...be interesting to see a spread of where people come from...

Sometimes, you can tell someone is not a native english speaker (and therefore presumably is not from America or the commonwealth)...of course, half the europeans here have better english than some americans...

You first ;)

(actually I hope none of us have to deal with that--fingers crossed)

Since I am a Nightwish and Within Temptation fan I must also wish the best for Holland and Finland too.

Early in our history massive debt was used to keep the independent states in line as a (mostly) unified country. If the European Union were to accept responsibility for all of its members' debt in exchange for substancial political powers over them that would basically be what the US did over 200 years ago. I doubt debt alone is going to kill us. And even if bankruptcy kills a good chunk of the federal government as we know it today, you're not going to see any state try to go it alone either (save maybe Alaska, its never unwise to underestimate the chance Mrs. Palin doing something rash).

Would it lead to substantial social strife? Yes, but that's going to be throughout state lines, not between them. The vast majority of Americans cannot even tell you if their state is a net recipient or provider of government money, making some of the arguments the Scots are hearing right now independence useless. And centuries of free movement between states, and the out stretched familial, social and economic ties that it produced will not be undone short of anything but military force or equivalent disaster.

In short, I doubt think we're going to see the Disunited States of America in our life time, no matter how bad our politicians get.
