Why would you bother to build Vasari Rebel titan? Granted I like that titan. But wait a sec, for the same resource you spent (research, factory and titan), you can build 2 close to fully upgraded Starbase. That is wayyyyyy more powerful than a lvl1 titan. And you can spam those, when you can only build one titan.

Build 3 of them and spam overseers. I just don't see anything can stop you.

why dont they just make it where you can't jump a starbase to a planet where you already have one? it doesnt make sense for it to sit there like it needs batteries or something
It was like that originally... But there was a possibility to accidentally (or intentionally) have two starbases jump to the same planet at the same time (from different phase lanes, of course) which would result in the game crashing to desktop. Apparently this is the "fix" the dev's came up with for that crash...

... just make it turn around. If by the time it gets back there is another starbase, the one in transit blows up. It's your own damn fault if you put yourself in that situation.

Hell, I don't see an issue with just blowing up the second starbase if they both warp in at the same time. makes alot more sense than 'we forgot to pay the electric bill'

Yep the process of exiting phase space and the resulting disturbance would blow the poor second base to Kevin Spacie's locker.

I was thinking that it could become owned by the pirates if you do that.  Don't know if that's possible but that would be better in my opinion.
