[0.8 Crash] Press Pirate's "Offer Mission" Button = Crash.

Just sent in my third reproducible crash to the bug trackers (yay!). This one should be reproducible by other people so I thought I'd post the details.

 

Playing as Advent Loyalist, longish game vs. 7 CPU (Normals, this was just a performance test), eventually I decide I want to backstab an "ally" with a little pirate raid... every time I click on "Offer Mission" I crash.

So I load up a new game as Advent Rebels, x8 while rushing the research. Same thing. And same for TEC-L and TEC-R.

 

In short, trying to use Pirate missions always make me crash.

 

Has anyone been able to offer Pirates a mission without crashing?

Haven't really gotten far into any 0.8 game yet. But i sure as hell will check if this issue occurs to me as well. Thanks for mentioning it! :thumbsup:

I'm got the same problem while playing as a Tech Rebel on an 8 player map against 4 Hard and 3 Unfair AIs. Sent in a report about an half hour ago. -_-

Yes, it happened to me too.  Good thing, I have to get up for work in four hours.

 

Twice clicked the offer button, twice crashed.

Had me and my mate scratching our head when we minidumped twice aftert he same save. It was exactly this problem. Hopefully the dumps'll  help get this fixed.
