I have seen the new Gametypes "Destroy the Home world" and "Destroy the Ship".

So...i have thought...what about the superweapons?
Novalith could just shoot the home planet and you couldnt do anything:
TEC Loyalist would be very OP at this, because they can rush their Novalith.
Kostura could stun and maybe destroy the Capital ship if you have enough kosturas.

Because Rebellion is still in Beta, i wantto mention this idea:
Superweapon defense building
A Building to defend your worlds from Superweapons, but not against all of them.
They should have also a reload timer, so if you shoot 2 SW at the same time, it could only destroy one of them.

Once again i'm reading threads about balance issues which aren't issues, If you allow this to happen you deserve to lose anyway.

 

Lets face it loyalist are a turtling faction for tec and it shows in most thing they need 7 mili labs and to get that a fair expansion too, shouldn't someone be hampering this? Slowing him down, pushing him back.. forcing culture down his neck, sniping with corvettes in back worlds? pushing with siege and anti structures, likewise expanding and pressuring him face on?

 

Lets be fair the spamming of superweps does suck and it does my nut in too, but at the end of the day, you let them.. or your team mate did, and tec can atleast negate them with planet shields. Still, considering price, time to build and get there, you should be able to over power them if you play well. If you don't a balance change wouldn't change the outcome of the fight.

Exactly the point. You don't sit, turtle and wait for the vicious AI, or a human player to spam Novaliths. You attack! A good Offense is the best defense.
