How I see beta 2 Rebellion sides

How I see beta 2 Rebellion sides

First of all I would like to say I really like this expansion so far.  I would also like how different each of the loyalist and Rebel faction.

TEC Loyalist- They are Turtle Style (Just like you said)

TEC Rebels- Pirate faction

Advent Loyalists- How you would expected the Advent to move toward in such a long War

Advent Rebels- They seem to be Alkida for the Sins of the Solar Empire Universe

This is how I see it do agree or disagree with me?

I never noticed the homeworld part, it strikes me as a bad idea, homeworlds are often far from the frontlines, which means cost or no cost, it would often be better for you to just rebuild the ships at frontline factories, instead of having ships respawn at your homeworld taking up your fleet supply and being 8 jumps from the front.

It would be more worthwhile in my eyes if they just revived on the battlefield.

Maybe we can now finally use that option that designates a planet as the home-world -if its a desert planet on the front-lines-well go for it.

You said that the Advent are not a religion because they have no gods. Most eastern religions ether don't have gods or the gods are irrelevant.

As well killing of an entire planets population as your bomb. That is Terrorism.

Well then every faction in Sins is a terrorist.

Also keep in mind that the Advent aren't... really a religion, their use of terms like defilers and heathens has more to do with them seeing themselves as pure and enlightened, a greater form of life. They have no god that they worship, they do not kill in any one being's name, they kill for themselves and eachother, their collective mind, their Unity.

There is a finer line between religion and philosophy than most people seem to think. In the west there is a strong secular gap but it some forms of paganism, Buddhism and other far eastern religions I'm not as familiar with there isn't a very big difference, and some of these were technically atheistic.

my understanding of the tech is that its not tied to immediate deaths. ie, i just lost a frigate, i will now roll to see if it returns to life... its more like returning armada or truce amongst rogues in that every so often, you get ships. trouble is, where to bring them? however, i dont see any reason why the tech cant be made to work the way alot of people seem to think it does, via the on death-chance-to-resurrect method. can anyone think of a reason why you might not want to do it that way?

They could do it that way, but the tech seems to say they will reappear at your home world. Which doesn't seem to happen any more than you temporarily get clones of enemy ships you destroy. So neither of these things appears to be working currently.

well, while the resurrection tech isnt working... of course it still sucks...

I have 100 scouts. I bring them to your fleet with the Rebel Titan and a Discord battleship... Send in a martyr, do some damage to all nearby ships, and the titan gains a damage bonus, and a random enemy ship takes some damage as well, effectively doing 700-900 damage per ship.   Multiply that by a hundred and 10 of them come back to life for free, plus rez some of the opponents' ships to take as your own.

The 10% rez rate and to the homeworld is what saves this from being overpowered, imo. Yeah, I just destroyed my own fleet to wipe out yours... but I can rebuild mine faster, cheaper, and then do it again. I dont know, I'd like to see it all together.

Does Martyrdom still have that target limit? I remember something about it only affecting so many targets...

I feel as though the Rebels description was poorly described. What is the corruption?

I dont think they know... The Rebels want to find out.
