Game Currently Unavailable, please try again later

Rebellion not launching

When I try to launch Rebellion I get an error from steam that says: Game Currently Unavailable, please try again later.

I'm assuming this error is caused by the game not updating properly. So I assume the fix is to delete local data and reinstall? If it's caused by something else I'd like to know before I actually uninstall/reinstall. Any help/information/confirmation would be appreciated.

Always try "verify integrity of game cache" before doing a reinstall.

Thank you very much, you just saved me easily a half hour. I did not know about that option in Steam, but once I did it, it applied the new update and ran no problem.

Thanks from me too Ravagus. Steam is frickin headfuck. Why developers think its the way forward boggles the mind. Buy disc. Install. Register. Play. Simple.

Then you sir and a less than handful are the only ones who have NEVER had a problem using Steam.(Ask Stant about his use of Steam and their are others out there.)

I myself can't get aboard because to me it's like asking permission to play a game I PAID for. When it comes to original Sins or any of the X-space games, I just fire it up. No middle man, one day I may break down and use Steam, but not right now...
