Error Starting Program

I just downloaded the Stardock Central Beta and installed it.  Install went fine, asked me for my Stardock account info and password.  However when I start it up it gives an error msg:

"There was a problem trying to get the list of updated software: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

I am running on Win 7 32-bit, and have many of the Object Desktop apps installed and working.  I used to use impulse, but have not used that for many months.

Any suggestions?

I had the same problem. Managed to fix it by uninstalling all my apps from impulse. Then SDC would work and I had to reinstall my apps

with SDC.

There may be some problems with some of our software that were installed using Impulse. The quickest solution is to do what zeldalink mentioned above, which is to uninstall our software using Impulse, then re-install it using Stardock Central. This is only a temporary solution until we can track the problem down and resolve it. Apologies for the inconvenience.
