Acronis And WindowBlinds

To skin, or not to skin....that is the question

Hey guys. And duck. Acronis keeps being skinned by WB even though I have added all Acronis exe files to the exclusion list in WB.

Anyone got any suggestions?

At my age I'm fairly out the loop, but would suggesting shooting yourself in the head be considered politically incorrect?

Excludes fine on 7, just not Vista.

You probably did this, but...

Did you create the exclusion, close Acronis if it was open, Apply Changes in WB Config, then re-open Acronis?

Clearly the result of molesting goats over many generations.

Genetics prove your undoing once again.

Next random toss in the dark...

Since it's Vista maybe it would help to run WBConfig elevated or whatever that Vista thing is?

Did you reboot and why are you excluding it?

I have TrueImage.exe excluded and it works just fine.

I haven't tried molesting goats though. Does that make a difference?

Yes, and WB messes with it. Some functions are hard to use with it skinned.

Are you guys running Vista? It works great on 7. Giz, you're on XP, right?

Like what? What version are you using? If I recall, some of the earlier versions did have GUI problems. The exclusion would be predicated on what options you're using.

Backup Scheme radio buttons not chooseable. If I try 4 or 5 times, it finally works.

Funny thing is, with all Acronis exe files added to the exclusion list, it is still skinned. That was my real concern.

That was a known issue in 2011.... not sure they ever fixed it until 2012. It's not WB doing it.

https://www.acronis.com/my/products/ update it and see if that makes a difference (I have my doubts).

It works.....worry about something that doesn't. Knowing you, I'm confident you'll find something.
