And no one answered my question, where does the Titan come out? Do I need to research all the Fleet Logistics stuff before I can get it? I have all the Eradica Prototype research completed.

You should add that the location of each titan build stage will be different for each race/faction, but it will all be under the military tech tree.

You also need the Titan Foundry. You will likely need to upgrade your Tactical Slots once or twice to build it, and it will set you back around 5000 credits, a thousand crystal, and a thousand metal.

Ive checked with every race, the total cost to build the titan and foundry, including research ,is 14,300 credits, 2000 metal, and 1500 crystal.

I recommend you save that amount up after getting the required amount of research facilities(4).

Build the foundry, and queue up all four stages of the research, then began building.

When you research the first Titan stage, a new tactical structure "Titan Foundry" becomes available. That is the factory for building the Titan.

THANKS! The manual should help greatly. I didn't realize the Titan Foundry was in the tactical structures, I thought it would be grouped with the Frigate Factory and Capital Ship Factory.

IMO, the stage thing is kind of redundant. Who would ever start building a titan during stage one?

First off, the first stage comes too early, yes, it's cheap, but in the early game you need to maximize your research time, and making useless titan research early won't win you any early engagement or set yourself up for an economic boom.

Second, you don't have the money to do it that early. Titans come later on, even if you destroy planets as VL you will never want to focus on early titan research as you need to rush the empire line first for obvious reasons.

Yeah, it is strange it's a tactical and not a logistical structure. Perhaps a balance reason? Or they just didn't have room in the logistical structure selection window for it :p
