The CF65 desktop gadget has always been one of my faves. I just tried to apply it and it won't work. I then tried to re-download it but still the same problem. Anyone know of a fix?
Try clearing the cache: LINK
Since it's a gadget, you might also take a look in your Temp folder and delete the corresponding folder if it's there.
sViz: Thanks for the prompt reply. I tried what you said but it didn't work. I've also pm'd Richard to see if he knows how to solve this. I'd really hate to lose this gadget because it's one of the best. His green version is great too and it doesn't work either. Yet they were both working a month or so ago when I last used them.
What exactly happens when you try to run the gadget? Any errors pop up?
I get a windows message that it stopped working. Since it's an exe, I think windows treats it as a program (which it is). Windows tries to figure out how to solve it but can't so it closes.
Have you tried running in compatibility and/or running as administrator?
Hi sviz: You did it! I switched to Vista SP2 and it works like a charm! Thanks a lot! Brilliant! I probably would never have thought of that.
