Let's Play Video Series on Youtube for Beta 2

I'm a huge fan of 'let's play' videos!  Can't wait to see more!  :)

This video looks at the starting position and also goes over the main interface.

Watched the first two, nice in depth for people new to the series.

Quick tip:  When you're looking for a place to settle (as in video 2), PLEASE click the button on the top right.  You know, the one just to the left of the tile yield.  It has the same effect as hovering over the settle button, but stays on and doesn't require your sovereign to be selected.  I kept trying to click on the button while watching the video, I wanted to see the tile yields.  Makes looking at potential settling sites much easier.

Continuing to watch.  I hope a dev watches, and takes your occasional UI and other suggestions to heart - simple little changes that would help the game, especially for newcomers.

What capturing software are you using?

Using BandiCam to capture the videos. Brilliant software. Eats Fraps.

I used Debut Video Capture. Very good too. And free.

Simply awesome! And the commentary is right to the point, especially the UI remarks. Also, I too would love Brit English voicing but perhaps that's just European solidarity speaking. Keep up the good job!

Interesting videos. I notice that your game is much smaller scale than mine. But you really bring a good voice to the action. Always fun to watch.

Nice "Let's Play". I've watched them all so far and have enjoyed them. Keep posting them. I am very curious to see how everything pans out.

You can upgrade to a better weapon or armor, but not unit size. I too find it strange. 

Spell Mastery makes a spell penetrate Spell Resistance. Healer was the right choice though.

Das, these are cool. Checked a couple out last night.

Watching you build that tank unit was difficult to watch. You should have taken the +3 to Constitution, -1 to Dexterity; and +3 to Constitution, -1 to Strength; and +3 Defense. Constitution exponentially increases the unit's health as they level. I would also cast Aura of Vitality on your main troop training city. 

Nice win on the battle. Just for next time, getting the first strike would have made that battle so much easier. Hitting first means weakening their attack ability by killing off troops. I don't know why you forfeited that. 

I hadn't really thought much about Constitution. Thanks for the info.
