Guild Wars 2 beta sign-up open for two days, chance to get into beta when it happens

Just thought I'd post this, as I remember reading quite a few posts about guild wars when mmorpgs were more popular. The link takes you to a site where you can sign up for a chance to get into the Guild Wars 2 beta when that happens. The sign-ups will supposedly be limited to 2 days, according to Rock Paper Shotgun (edit: also http://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/sign-up-now-for-the-guild-wars-2-beta.html ). This is the sort of thing I'd hate to miss, if I was a fan.

Just note:

 

If you do get in you wont get access to every beta event. From the FAQ, its more or less they are testing different things based on your system specs. and there is a NDA. 

 

Expect this to be a very limited beta with mostly technical things they are testing.

GW2 will have datacenters in North America and Europe (not sure if they will be the same ones serving GW1, but probably that, with a few, or a lot, more computers in the datacenter).  Not sure whether that means ping times for people not near there will still be acceptable.
