Deskscapes crashing

from Stardock Forums

Hi guys, 

Hope you can help, I'm running win 7, running deskscape 2.0. 

 

The problem is every time I load a dream, it appears for 3 seconds, then dissapears, and my desktop icons have disappeared and the only way to get them back is to restart the comp, 

 

Any ideas???

Please post your system info, and the info in the "About Deskscapes" tab. Also... have you updated drivers recently?

Also, write to [email protected] and mention the url of this thread. Keep the "Autorply" response as it'll have your ticket number. Also, don't respond to it. Wait for a person to answer (24-48 hrs depending on the load) or your request will be kicked to the end of the queue.

It sounds like more than Deskscapes is crashing.  If your icons are disappearing, then explorer.exe is no longer running, either.
