Very nice, karma for you! k1

EDIT: It looks like they added a lot of new debris objects and even complete capital ship wrecks. Also, the part with the Protev Colony frigate being loaded with troops might imply that the TEC gets some sort of invasion ability. This is purely speculative, of course. You can see some TEC Loyalist corvettes in action at 0:23 by the way. Can't wait for the beta! :X

 Thank you Swiss Knight.

Neat, Stardock should post this on the front page

Lol only if it did look that good but it is still a pretty game none the less.

That colony frigate is quite large. Stant feel like doing another ship sizing chart again?

Oh wow

This is amazing!

Good spot by the way. Didn't notice the corvettes, kinda transfixed by the Titan.

Also, I know its a cinematic, but anyone else notice the "jump-in" effect on the advent Titan?

Well, I've always intended on doing it for all of them due to the fact that nothing is to scale with each other.  There's just this pesky thing called time I never seem to have enough of.  ;P  But I'll get to it eventually though, you can be sure of that.

Well at least we have an actual man to colony frigate scale we could use.

not really.  That's an artist drawing, I use in game screen shots to size it all up.  I probably will be using a grey scale of the ingame shot in the future rather then drawing up my own wire image and marking it all up.

Except that also means the planets in the Sins universe are at best a few kilometers long by that scale. ;)

Lol good point. But scaling in the game also is a bit awkward due to planet sizes unless the capital ships and star bases are at least a few 100 kilometers.

Everything in game model wise to have a true scale should be much smaller ... or planets and their gravity wells much bigger. *shrugs*

I could live with 1/2 scale (ships and structures), but leave the grav wells, and map objects as they are.

Indeed, my point was that there is no set scale in Sins. Its futile to try and make one because the Devs had to make it out of scale for gameplay reasons.

Did any else feel the trailer was... extremely short?

Yeah they could have at least given us some more text and static images between the cinematic, but that's not a huge deal. I mean it doesn't tell us anything we don't know about the game anyways.

For a full length trailer I would say it was but if it was meant to be a short teaser trailer, it wasn't bad.

I really liked the shield animation on the TEC Titan as it returns fire. It looked pretty darn cool.

It's more a teaser.  Still cool but longer would have been nice. Maybe with a James Earl Jones voice over and hugh Jackman as the TEC general.

Sean Young would be great as Advent (she's already crazy) and Milla Jovovich could voice the TEC rebels.  Stardock can send her to my house and I'll coach her.

Pleaase?

What kind of weapon is hitting the Titan's shield at 20 seconds? Is it an auto-cannon?

Most likely yes, however, since these aren't in game shots, but rather an artist's animation, you could also be seeing the glow from missile's drive engines and then those missiles impacting on the shield.  In game they'd have exhaust trails to make identification easier.

Awesome, truly fantastic though I wish they would have spent just a little more time on each scene. :dur:

Could somebody with skill please make a 1080p wallpaper of the Loyalist TEC titan firing all four of its beams?  :D

Guys as some stardock members of this forum have already said: This is just a teaser trailer-one among a string of trailers for the advertising campaign. Expect 1 or 2 teasers before the actual trailer- probably detailing the story and current state of each faction.

For a teaser this was an awesome one.

Have a good day!
