That was cool....

Interactive glass like that has been around for some time. They also have a plastic sheet that acts the same, but you can roll it up and such. Basically all that crap you saw in Mission Impossible is real, but it's just not cost effective yet to produce, like carbon tubules for motherboards. Other things like Monoatomic insulators are just now seeing popularity in everyday devices.

But yes, it's cool.

You talkin' about the screen, or...? ;)

Nothing else worth looking at....  ;P

Doc is right, I was admiring the little models behind the glass.

I want one! The screen not the model (I'm not that kind of girl, thank you) I was wondering if the neighbors could not see what you are doing but see you waving your arms around...

Hmmm, were almost there....

Nothing really new about those, G.
They are "only" monitors.

But granted, nice view - and in the monitors as well......

btw, I don't think the chick is anything special, so I really was looking at the glass.

I can imagine the cost. I'll wait awhile. Probably by then I'll be rich enough to mortgage one. lol

Thats very cool, but....its very possible that screen will be worth more than any room of my house i'd feel comfertable installing it in.
But for a home office it would be great.

I think I prefer one I can sit down to and use. I have to maintain my nice shape.

no one's noticed that just below the glass is a sign to not touch it.

I want it!!

If only there was some device that you could literally touch and then the screen would react to what you do...

oh... wait... :X

That said, I didn't really get an impression of whether or not the screen was super thin or something like that from the video - just that a girl could see the "little town outside" after closing the virtual blinds.  But a tech demo that doesn't do anything even remotely new is not super exciting in and of itself.  That said, tell me I can get that screen for $600 and I'm exceedingly impressed.
