Hotseat?

My roommate and I enjoyed WoM, but one thing we lamented was the lack of hotseat capability. We had the same lament about GalCivsII. As far as we could tell, there was nothing in the game mechanics that would have prevented it (but of course, we could be wrong). So a simple request would be that, if game mechanics permit, hotseat multiplayer be an option in FE. It would be a great way for us to pit our skills against each other, and I'm sure others would agree. :)

 

By the by, I am so very excited for this game!

hotseat is a 'must' as for I'm concerned, I don't really care so much when it gets implemented just so long as it does (Someone watchin me play and says they would like to try (possible sell), sorry but you can't do that in this game)

 

everyone I"ve ever gotten to play one of my games (Turned based strategy) has been accomplished by adding in 'roleplayin' of my own to entice them until they start liking the game itself

 

I have to say though, that with this new unheard of multi-player setup they have goin on, hotseat is surely possible (just seems alot easier than this b*d*ss stuff they're coming up with)

I too would love hotseat, My friends and I love to sit in front of the computer and churn out hours of time playing Turn based strategy games, with the ability to custom build your own armies that this game provides my friends and I want to play it together so bad, but without hotseat there is no way we can do that.

Another vote for hotseat.  If they are going to the trouble of putting in multiplayer, then I think it makes a great deal of sense to have local multiplayer too.  With a "changing players" screen between players like other hotseat games (so others don't see your screen).
