Hey, can we cut it out with all the damn spiders? I have serious issues with them.

How about bears or dragons?

Can't she run a pony ranch instead?  And be a Pretty Pony Princess!

I would most definitely pay to have spider dragons and all sorts of mad imagination creatures come to life in this game.  :omg:

Although, mentioning dragon training as a type of magic or 'specialization' sounds bloody awesome. Flying mounts? Yes, please.

But, in another reference, Mother of Dragons sounds better than Mother of Bears (still sounds good though). While, Mother of Wolves reminds me of Roman mythology.

This could also be a good expansion on the golem trait, allowing the hero to have a potential to specialize in creating, managing and empowering golems.

Which leads me down the winding road of; why not have specializations for all types of soldiers? There could be a defender only potential trait which would allow him to increase the initiative or damage of other shield wielding units. Also, perhaps an archer specialization for the assassin or warrior which allows them to enhance the initiative or allows for the use of a 'volley' ability when 3 or more bow units are in a group.

I will go for that because spiders don't have knees.

Or they could have 48 knees if you define it loosely as a leg joint.

There used to be a spider-riding lady called Nosmia and she had a bug (no pun intended) where she would regenerate after death and keep coming back.  Then I would kill her again for experience.  It was a thing we had.

I haven't seen her in-game recently though.  Hope she's not dead for good.

But actually yes, it would be cool if you could make spider mounts.

I really didn't need to know that.

how many legs and knees would that be (i.e. how many legs from each does it get)?  For that matter, how many eyes does it have?  Does it have a dozen cute pony eyes.  Are they less cute when there is an unnatural amount of them?

there used to be Spider mounts .... (and Scath mounts) ... perhaps they could make a reappearance? :D

(why did they disappear btw)

They didn't, they are special and are out there.  Quest, loot, high level champs.

Ah, kk.

Hmm, but what about the Spiders you can make with Wraith's spider trait? Shouldn't that trait allow you to buy spider mounts?

That's not a bad idea.

Some badass spiders from D&D would be cool like sword spiders and wraith/phase spiders.

No D&D types!  If I see a monster out of D&D, I will convene a meeting of all the factions to get it expelled to WoM.

Now, if you want to create sword-wielding dragon pony spiders, we might consider that.  Especially if they're ninjas.

Nosmia is an empire champion and rides a spider but you can't buy or raise spiders to give to your other champions.

You do know there's a tech in the Civics tree called 'Dancing with Dragons' that enables you to build on some special map resources to bring dragons into your army?
