First-time Modeler Looking For Some Feedback

Hey everyone, Completely new to modeling. Watched some videos and after making a crude battle axe, I made this ship and was wondering if people could give me some advice. I'd like to improve it wherever possible. I'm having trouble adding small details

And sorry for posting so many questions. You've all been great help and I thank you ;)

suggestion.

Keep all your posts in your WIP mod thread instead of scattered about.  You can link pics right into main post and any post there.  Keeps people replying to your main thread, bumps views, and keeps attention on what you're doing so it's not lost in the pile of older threads.

Not getting the steampunk feel for it.  The model is ok but not seeing the steampunk in it.

@SemazRalan Ah thanks for the suggestion and sorry.

@Sinperium Yeah it kind of turned into a disproportionate seaplane lol. I made this before your suggestion of setting ground rules for each race's build theme. I'm going to try and incorporate that now

it looks like the hindenburg, keep it away from pointy research structures and you should be alright

Ok--the zombie was still in the human infection stage.  It's nearly undead now.
